As a Toronto and Pickering newborn photographer, I create timeless newborn portraits that preserve these fleeting moments and the beautiful connection between your baby and your family.
Newborn photography sessions take place in my Pickering, Ontario studio, conveniently located for families throughout Toronto, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Durham Region and the Greater Toronto Area.
Every newborn session is thoughtfully planned around your baby. We take our time, follow your little one's cues and allow plenty of breaks for feeding, cuddling and changing. My goal is to create a calm, comfortable experience while capturing beautiful newborn photographs your family will treasure for years to come.

NEWBORN SAFETY & YOUR BABY'S COMFORT
Your baby's comfort and safety are at the heart of every newborn photography session.
Newborn sessions are never rushed. I carefully watch your baby's cues throughout the session and allow plenty of time for feeding, changing, cuddling and settling whenever needed.
Every baby is different, and not every pose is suitable for every newborn. I will never force your baby into a position that does not feel comfortable or natural for them. Instead, we work at your baby's pace and adapt the session around what they are comfortable doing.
Many of the more elaborate newborn portraits you see in my galleries are also created safely using composite photography and digital editing, rather than placing a baby in an unsafe position.
My goal is simple: to give you beautiful newborn portraits while creating a calm, patient and comfortable experience for your baby and your family.

The best time to book your newborn photography session is during your second or third trimester. Once you reach out, we will discuss your vision, preferred newborn photography package and estimated due date.
Your session will be reserved around your due date, and we will confirm the final date once your little one arrives. Already had your baby? Please still reach out! Whenever possible, I am happy to accommodate last-minute newborn sessions at my Pickering photography studio.
2. planning
Every Little Detail, Taken Care Of
Once your session is booked, you will receive everything you need to prepare for your baby's newborn photos.
Together, we will plan the colours, props and styling for your session. My Pickering newborn photography studio provides a beautiful collection of wraps, outfits, blankets, headbands, bonnets and newborn photography props.
You don't need to worry about bringing a thing for your baby. Simply arrive, relax and let me take care of the details.
3. session day
Relax — We'll Follow Your Baby's Lead
Newborn sessions are calm, unhurried and always centred around your baby's comfort.
There is plenty of time for feeding, changing, cuddling and settling throughout your session. Every baby is different, so we will follow your little one's cues and never rush through a pose.
Depending on your chosen package, we will create a beautiful variety of newborn portraits and may also include photographs with parents and siblings.
Most importantly, you can relax while I create timeless images of this incredibly special chapter in your family's story.
4. after the session
Choosing Your Favourite Images
Within approximately 3–5 business days, you will receive a private online proof gallery featuring the best images from your newborn photography session.
From the comfort of home, you can choose the photographs included with your package or purchase additional favourites.
Once your selections are submitted, each chosen image will be carefully and professionally edited in my signature style. Your finished newborn photographs will be delivered through a beautiful private online gallery.

My newborn photography studio is located in Pickering, Ontario, just east of Toronto and conveniently accessible for families throughout Durham Region and the GTA. Families regularly visit the studio from Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Courtice, Scarborough, North York, Vaughan, Markham, Brampton and Toronto.
The studio is fully equipped for newborn photography, with a carefully curated collection of wraps, newborn outfits, props, flokati rugs and accessories available for your session. You do not need to purchase or bring anything for your baby unless there is something sentimental you would love to include.
Newborn photography sessions are available in my Pickering studio, serving families from Toronto, Scarborough, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa and throughout Durham Region and Greater Toronto Area. Flokati is a special type of rug that is produced in Greece from the wool of sheep. These rugs are woven in a specific way in order to create a luxurious, shag pattern. And babies love them! And images are dreamy!
Don't see a color you love? NO WORRIES! We can change it for you in post production :) Just tell me what you would like before the session to ensure we use the correct shade for editing after.

Digital backgrounds are a perfect way to enhance your baby portraits, and have an amazing dreamy image to remember and admire forever!
Baby in the clouds or sleeping on a bed of flowers swing - those are safely created and images composed using digital backgrounds.
One of the images from your session - we will use it to compose the image on the digital background.
That's why is important to select it before your session, so we will pose the baby in the best way to blend in the backdrop chosen.

Q1: When should I book my newborn photography session?
I recommend booking your newborn photography session during your second or third trimester. We will reserve your session based on your estimated due date and confirm the final date once your baby arrives.

Q2: When is the best time to photograph a newborn?
Newborn photography sessions are typically scheduled during the first few weeks after birth, when babies are often sleepier and naturally curl into those beautiful newborn poses.
However, every baby is different. If your little one is already a few weeks old, don't worry! Beautiful newborn and baby portraits can still be created. Your session will always be adapted to your baby's age, comfort and individual needs.
Q3: Where is your newborn photography studio located?

The studio is fully equipped for newborn photography, so everything we need to create your baby's portraits is ready for you when you arrive.
Q4: Do you provide newborn outfits, wraps and props?
Yes! My Pickering newborn photography studio has an extensive collection of newborn wraps, outfits, blankets, headbands, bonnets, flokati rugs, baskets and photography props.
We will discuss your preferred colours, styling and setups before your session. You are also welcome to bring a sentimental item that you would love incorporated into your baby's photographs.
Q5: Can parents and siblings be included in newborn photos?
Absolutely. Family photographs are one of my favourite parts of a newborn session because they capture the beautiful connection between your new baby and the people who love them most.
Depending on the newborn photography package you choose, we can include portraits with parents and siblings as part of your session.
Q6: What if my baby doesn't sleep during the newborn session?
Please don't worry! Every newborn is different, and your baby does not need to sleep perfectly for us to create beautiful photographs.
Newborn sessions are intentionally relaxed and unhurried. We allow plenty of time for feeding, changing, cuddling and settling. I follow your baby's cues throughout the session and adapt posing and setups based on what your little one is comfortable doing.
Q7: How long does a newborn photography session take?
The length of your newborn session depends on the package you select. Full newborn photography sessions can take approximately two to three hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, changing and moving between setups.
Shorter wrapped newborn sessions are also available. Regardless of the package, your baby's comfort always comes first, and the session is never rushed.
Q8: Do you photograph Toronto families even though your studio is in Pickering?
Yes! I regularly welcome families from Toronto and across the GTA to my newborn photography studio in Pickering.
Pickering is conveniently located just east of Toronto and is easily accessible from Scarborough, Markham, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa and surrounding Durham Region communities.
Q9: Do you offer newborn photography sessions at home?
Yes. In addition to studio newborn photography, I offer lifestyle newborn sessions in the comfort of your own home.
Lifestyle sessions have a more natural and relaxed feel, focusing on your baby, your family and the connection you share in your own space. This can be a wonderful option for families who prefer not to travel to the studio during those first weeks.
Q10: How much does newborn photography cost in Toronto and Pickering?
Newborn photography pricing varies depending on the type of session, session length, number of professionally retouched images and included setups.

Q11: What should we bring to our newborn photography session?
Your baby's safety and comfort are always my main priority. I follow your baby's cues throughout the session and will never force a newborn into a pose that is uncomfortable or unsuitable for them.
Some of the more elaborate newborn portraits you see in my portfolio are created using composite photography and professional editing. This allows us to create beautiful finished images without placing your baby in an unsafe position.
Q12: Is newborn photography safe?
Most of what your baby needs for photographs is already available at the studio, including wraps, outfits, blankets, accessories and newborn photography props.
I recommend bringing your baby's usual feeding supplies, diapers, a pacifier, and anything else that helps keep your little one comfortable. You are also welcome to bring a meaningful or sentimental item that you would like included in your photographs.
